The first men took their canoes to explore distant shores. Over the centuries, it was the time of the discovery of new continents. Then came the spatial age and the beginnings of the human race out of his planet. It was only natural, when it became possible, that the human being starts to discover other planets that surrounded near or far. But after longs, very longs, reconnaissance expeditions, all probes that our ancestors had sent always refer the same verdict: no other planet let alone another planetary system could not support life. Until the day when the unexpected happened: the probe Voyager 412, launched a few hundred years ago in the direction of the Orion system, which nobody expected any signal, considering it lost, began to issued what would become the salvation of the rest of humanity. Humanity now under duress of an impending cataclysm that was to be so violent that the current collective memory itself has forgotten the cause ... or cause it to be forgotten. Some of the inhabitants of our home planet so have decided to migrate naturally to this new system. But understanding among peoples that was never be the strongest of the human species, almost everyone wanted to leave on his own. The Orion system harboring three planets, all three habitable, it was still decided to send settlers on each, according to a choice that also remains a mystery to this day. As the trip had to be done over several centuries, the settlers were placed into cryo-stasis in independent modules, all equipped with the bare minimum required to install the colony and to be dropped at the approach of the new Orion planetary system ...
Below is a list of different messages displayed during the course of the tutorial :
- ... You hear me ? ...
- Perfect! You're finally awake.
I'm Samia, an artificial intelligence sent to help you.
I helped by deploying the Headquarters and Communication Center, during your recovery phase...
(If you wish, my speech synthesis can be switched on in the preferences, by clicking on your nickname, on the top right of the screen.)
- A tip before you start :
Keep in mind, that it should build only what you need and only when necessary.
I expect you to Communication Center...
- You received some things to help you get started :
A few credits and some energy that you will get by clicking on the cards :
- Note that you also have help screens, a bit everywhere, by clicking on .
Take the bonus cards and find us at Headquarters...
- The Supercomputer allows for Processing Units (PU), essential for most tasks.
Each PU is a Processor.
Add Processor to the Supercomputer (by clicking to the right + of processors), then expand the headquarters at level 2.
- During the development of HQ,
return to the Communication Center...
- To contact the various services we need Satellites. Start by sending one (by clicking to the right + of Satellites), and contact the Intergalactic Parliament, for permission to build the Power Plant (clicking Constructions), and find us there.
- Develop your Power Plant at level 1 ...
- Once done, again contact the Intergalactic Parliament, for permission to build the Housing Complex.
And go and visit it, we will meet there again...
- Very well !
Here live the settlers, essential for your labor in general, and for the construction of all your buildings.
Expand your Housing Complex at level 1...
- Now you get the idea, do the same for the Spaceport, and contact General Store service to get your first ship:
A purchase voucher for 3 ships is offered to you from finished level 1 of your Spaceport. Use one by clicking on the button "Purchase Voucher" when you buy. Once the ship is yours, click the "Fleets" menu tab on the left.
Then we can develop a fleet !
- To create your first fleet, select your ship listed to integrate with the fleet.
Then click "Submit" to give a name to your fleet. This is important, because it will allow you to more easily locate later...
- Now we will send it on mission.
The name of your fleet should have appeared in the menu, under "Fleets" menu tab, so it is ready to go !
Click it to see the details, then click "Send".
- Now you're ready to explore !
Find a mission available (where time is green) and Level 1 by clicking on the red triangles, and then click "Send".
If you don't find mission level 1, wait for another opportunity, or see the list of "Missions" at Tactical Information Center, at your Communication Center, or by clicking on the clock. You will be able to directly send your fleet...
I expect you to Communication Center...
- Your fleet must now be on the way !
Take the opportunity to look at the information on the screen of your fleet.
You will notice in front of the speed information, that little logo , which indicate that your fleet is equipped with the "Speed Multiplier x2".
It is offered to you, as you are to the rank of Recruit.
After this rank, it will then be available for purchase, at the DSC Bazar of your Communication Center, and it will take you to equip your fleet, at each departure of the colony, if you want to benefit of it.
- Contact the Intergalactic Parliament, to purchase the Research Center and Training Center.
Expand them at level 1, you can then appear 1 Researcher and 2 Technicians, who are automatically given to start.
Once done, find ourselves at the Research Center...
- Now you need to search Technology Photonics.
Essential to be able to assign your Cell Power Plant, and thus produce the energy.
- So, assign a Researcher preformed at the Training Center and start the search Photonics.
- Once the search is done, you can add Cells to your Power Plant.
We will find us there.
- If the search Photonics is complete, you need to add a Cell.
After that, I'm waiting you at Communication Center...
- When you can extract and therefore sell the ore, it can be done at DSC Miner, available here, as well as some other services.
Some services require more Satellites or Relays to be activated. Thus, for Relays you will need to do the proper research to unlock them and use them.
- Keep in mind, that it should build only what you need and only when necessary.
Before developing a new level of a building, make sure it is not enough simply to increase its components instead.
- Each building component, such as Cells of the Power Plant, can be increased/decreased within the limits imposed by the level of your building.
It is against impossible to reduce the level of a building.
So Warning !!!
